Check-in is anytime after 3:00 PM and check-out is by 11:00 AM. We use self check-in: your keypad code is sent on your arrival day, once you complete online check-in (photo ID, e-signature and the card hold), so there's no front desk to wait for — arrive on your own schedule.

Yes. Park free in our private guest lot on the south side of the building (about 40 unmarked spaces, with EV charging; turn in from 8th Street SW), or on the free, non-metered street parking along 8th Street SW. See the illustrated arrival map for exactly where to pull in.

Roanoke–Blacksburg Regional Airport (ROA) is about a 10-minute drive — roughly 5 miles. Uber and Lyft both operate at ROA. No airport shuttle needed.

Yes — well-behaved dogs are welcome with a $50 per pet, per night fee. Maximum 2 pets per reservation. Cats are not permitted (allergen-control policy across all units). Please add the pet add-on at checkout so we can prep the flat. The courtyard and Greenway (five minutes away) are both great for walks. Please don't leave your dog alone in the flat unless it's crated. Service animals (ADA) are welcome at no charge.

No. All flats are strictly non-smoking, including vapes and cannabis. Smoking or vaping inside is subject to the $500 smoking amount in our Terms (Section 13), which applies when we have reasonable evidence, such as photos, sensor data or a report from our staff or cleaner. Smoking and vaping aren't allowed anywhere on the property, outdoors included (the patio, courtyard and parking lot).

By default, direct bookings are final and non-refundable. The way to a refund:

• Cancellation Protection — opt in at checkout for 20% of your stay total. With it, you can cancel for any reason until 24 hours before your check-in time (the exact date and time is shown at checkout) for a refund of everything you paid except the Cancellation Protection fee. It isn't offered within 25 hours of check-in, and after the deadline the booking is non-refundable.

Bookings made before 11:00 p.m. Eastern Time on September 30, 2026 keep the refund terms they were booked under. OTA bookings (Airbnb, VRBO, Booking.com, Expedia) follow that channel's cancellation policy. Full details: Terms Section 6.

Yes on most nights. During peak weekends (festivals, graduation, Valley View events) we require a 2-night minimum, and over major holidays sometimes 3 nights. The booking page will show you what's available.

Yes — ask us for a quote for your dates, or enter them at booking to see your exact price before you pay. Great for traveling professionals, medical rotations at Carilion, or extended family visits. Email us directly for a quote.

Yes — fiber internet is included in every flat with download speeds averaging 500 Mbps. More than enough for video calls, 4K streaming, or working remotely for a week. The network name and password are sent to you by text and email, and are on the coffee table in your flat.

Every flat has a full kitchen: stove, oven, full-size fridge, microwave, dishwasher, and a Keurig plus drip coffee maker. Pots, pans, knives, mixing bowls, and a full set of dinnerware for four. Starter coffee, salt, pepper, oil, and sugar are stocked.

Yes. Each flat has its own in-unit washer and dryer — no shared laundry room. Detergent pods are provided for your first load; more are available in the closet.

Smart TVs in the living room with Netflix, Hulu, Disney+, and Prime Video. Sign in with your own credentials — we clear the sessions after checkout. Cable is not included because nobody asked for it.

A Few Old Goats Brewing is on the ground floor. The flats are above and behind the tasting room, well-insulated, with separate entrances. You'll hear a faint murmur on a busy Friday night but it's not disruptive — most guests tell us they love having it there.

The closest Parkway access at Mill Mountain is about a 12-minute drive. Roanoke Mountain Overlook and the famous Roanoke Valley views are 15 minutes. McAfee Knob trailhead is a 30-minute drive.

Short list: Martin's Downtown, A Few Old Goats (on site), RND Coffee, Scratch Biscuit Co., the Market Building, Taubman Museum of Art, Center in the Square, and the Roanoke Greenway entrance. Nothing more than a 10-minute walk.
