The Deluxe.

Who it's for

The one most guests pick — and they're right to.

The Deluxe is the middle tier and the most-booked one for a simple reason: it gets the balance right. You get exterior windows (real daylight, real city views), a properly separated living area with seating that's actually comfortable to spend an evening in, and a dining nook that fits four — which sounds small until you realize most one-bedroom rentals make you eat at the kitchen counter or in bed. It's a hundred more square feet than the Standard but feels like a different category of stay.

It's the right call for couples on a real trip — anniversaries, long weekends, the kind of stay where you want to come back to the flat at 4pm with coffee, drop your stuff, and actually sit down for an hour before going back out. We get a lot of 3-to-5 night stays in this tier; guests tell us they're glad they went one notch up from the Standard once they see what the extra room buys them.

It's also the right call for business travelers who need to take a video call without the bedroom in the frame, or for guests who genuinely cook on vacation. The kitchen has the same equipment as the Premium (full-size fridge, dishwasher, real stove, drip coffee + Keurig, a stocked pantry of olive oil, salt, pepper, basics) but with a bigger counter to work on and seating right next to it. If you're the type who'd rather make breakfast at home and walk to dinner, this is the tier.

Deluxes are available on both floors — the lower-level versions trade the view for closer access to the courtyard and brewery, and the upper-level versions get the view but require a flight of stairs (no elevator). Units 202, 206, 211, 212, 213, 214, 215, and 216 are all Deluxes; we'll match you with one based on availability for your dates and any preference you tell us.

Inside The Deluxe.

Overview

550 square feet, lower & upper levels.

Our most-booked tier and the one we recommend by default. The extra 100 square feet vs. Standard turns into a separate living area, a proper dining nook, and exterior windows for real daylight. Deluxe rooms exist on both lower and upper levels — upper-level Deluxes trade a few stairs for higher ceilings and better light; lower-level ones keep you closer to the courtyard. Either way, you get the same finish quality.

Stayed at West End Flats and it exceeded expectations! Queen size memory foam beds were super comfy, and the fully furnished kitchen was a bonus.

We needed a place to stay last minute due to a family emergency. We live in VA Beach and did not expect to have to make this trip. The host was amazing and very accommodating, especially since it was after 10:00pm. Thank you for your quick response!

Had a great 3-night stay with my wife, our baby, and our dog. The room layout was cool, location was perfect (we were in town for a wedding), and being attached to a brewery is a plus. Price was really reasonable.
